Visaton Woofers

The Visaton W 130 X  is a 13 cm (5") woofer with a robust polypropylene membrane for a very compact subwoofer. Designed for multi-purpose applications due to 2 x 4 ohms double voice-coil, with excellent properties as 8 ohms drivers in a series configuration. The Visaton B 80woofer is ideal for small high-end shelf speakers or a mid-high-range unit in high-end multi-way speakers. Due to perfect accordance with the coated paper cone, the rear ventilated damper and the phase plug, and the strong and lightweight neodymium magnet, extremely well-balanced frequency response with very low harmonic distortion and lowest possible mechanical losses comes into being. 

Visaton Tweeters

The Visaton TL 16 H is a high-end horn driver. The extremely light aluminium titanium alloy diaphragm shows, apart from a very dynamic pulse response, a very linear frequency response. The powerful strontium-ferrite magnet and the 16 mm voice-coil are a guarantee for the highest efficiency. The Visaton KE 25 SC is a high-end tweeter with a perforated pole piece coupled with the flow-optimized rounded shape, the damping in the cavity, and the ventilated voice coil carrier guarantee a shallow resonance frequency. The impedance is linearized using an integrated LRC element. This means that the dome can be easily integrated into a network of crossovers. 

Visaton DIY Kits

The Visaton PACTO is a F.A.S.T. speaker design with a compact bass reflex enclosure. The Visaton FR 58 full-range driver is combined with the Visaton W 130 X subwoofer to ensure a powerful low-frequency reproduction. The Visaton CLOU is a slim 2-way column speaker offering real value for money as a key feature, as shown in the choice of two Visaton WS 17 E woofers for the bass/mid frequencies and the Visaton SC 10 N tweeter for the higher frequency range. The Visaton VOX 80 the smallest member of the VOX family and is an exactly scaled-down version of the larger models. The two 2” full-range FRWS 5 R speakers fit perfectly in the baffle and cover mid-range. The smaller CP 13 tweeter ensures that the higher-frequency, although already well covered by the FRWS 5 R, is further strengthened. The woofer in this set is an F 8 SC full-range loudspeaker. To be worthy of the honour of being included in the VOX family, the VOX 80 is fitted with a crossover that is just as conscientiously matched to the drivers as those in the larger models. The results can be both seen and heard. The VOX 80 is an eye-catcher as well as an ear-catcher on any desk.

Visaton TI 100 4" High-End Mid-Range Driver 8 Ohm

The TI 100 - 8 Ohm is perfect for use as a mid-bass or mid-range unit in high-end multi-way speakers or smaller high-end shelf speakers.

Cone resonance is prevented by a precisely engineered cone working in conjunction with the surround's shape, composition, and adhesives. The open voice coil with its phase plug and the shape of the basket with its large aperture and rear-ventilated damper combine to produce the lowest mechanical losses and a high mechanical Q. The TI 100 - 8 Ohm is also magnetically compensated as a result of its double magnet construction.
