The Dayton Audio PC83-8 3" full-range driver features a poly damped woven glass fiber cone, damped rubber surround, and high energy motor. The addition of a copper cap on the extended pole improves cone control, lowers inductance, and decreases distortion allowing for improved high frequency response. Really impressed with these little woofers. Installed in 3D printed waveguide bookshelf speakers and they are extremely listenable. Vocals project clearly and highs sparkle well. The lows are impressive too in the waveguide cabinet. Great value!

It's a pretty capable driver, don't expect to get sub woofer frequencies out of it though. I used these in the TV speakers I built in conjunction with a mini class d amp and I must admit they do sound good for such a small driver. I did use separate tweeters though. Would recommend

Ik had per ongeluk te veel vermogen door m'n satellieten gejaagd en daarbij het linkse kanaal opgeblazen. Omdat de kastjes zelf prima zijn ben ik gaan zoeken naar nieuwe 3" drivers en ben ik uiteindelijk op deze uitgekomen. Ze zitten nu in de behuizingen en ik ben onder de indruk wat je voor je geld krijgt. Bas mist een beetje omdat ik waarschijnlijk heel kleine kasten gebruik, maar de mids en highs laten zich prima horen, zelfs beter dan de orig...

Na een nieuwe boombox gebouwd te hebben met 2 Dayton audio TCP 115's, had ik deze nog liggen van mijn oude boombox. Ik heb 2 glazen potten gekocht en een gat in de dekselgemaakt en deze speakers erin gelijmd zodat alles lucht dicht is, dat het een sealed box is. Wow... deze dingen zijn echt super. Goed helder geluid, echt fullrange, maar die bass wat deze dingen konden produceren... Echt fantastisch. Ik heb ze naast mijn monitor staan, maar ze ga...
