Indexed Cone and Surround Junction
Diffraction caused by the abrupt edge of the surround is minimized by the use of an indexed junction. This design feature helps create a smooth transition between the cone and surround, resulting in improved frequency response while improving the rigidity of the cone further resulting in less cone distortion at high excursion.
Vented Polyimide Former with CCA Voice Coil Wire and Elevated Spider Suspension
The polyimide voice coil formers provide excellent mechanical damping and a smoother frequency response, and the copper-clad aluminum (CCA) wire reduces moving mass further enhancing the overall sound quality and increasing the efficiency of the speaker driver.
