This specific cabinet is designed specifically for the dayton-audio-rss460ho-4.html and the Dayton Audio UM18-22 Subwoofer , but will work with any subwoofer with an overall diameter of 457 mm or less and a required cut-out of 407 mm or less. less.The closed enclosure design creates a subwoofer system with a Qtc of 0.644 and an f3 of 40 Hz when used with the Dayton Audio RSS460HO-4 and minimal padding.
During the CNC manufacturing process, recesses are made in the rear panel for precise alignment of the panel. A unique three-piece bracket adds optimal rigidity without affecting the subwoofer's performance. Both side panels feature 18mm" rebates with cutouts to perfectly install the first piece of the two piece, double thick baffle. Installation of a plate amplifier is easily accomplished by making a cutout with a jigsaw. you may need to adjust one of the brackets slightly.
The end result is a resonance-free, sealed subwoofer cabinet built specifically to get the best performance out of Dayton Audio's 18" High Output Reference Series subwoofer.
