        By rigidly coupling a loudspeaker enclosure to a floor by means of a spiking system, it is possible to dramatically improve clarity, stereo imaging and tighten up the bass response. This is particularly effective on flimsy flooring and thick carpet. Includes 4 toes, 4 threaded inserts and 4 jamnuts. Requires 3/8" hole and 6 mm allen wrench for installation.

        The headline dimensions don't relate to the spike, but rather the insert. This isn't standard for the industry. When I raised this I was offered a return, but the postage costs almost as much as the product.
