Product details of the Dayton Audio MA1260

      Dayton Audio MA1260 multi-room amplifier

      Highly Efficient and Flexible Design

This class-D amplifier delivers high sound quality with efficient music reproduction. Each of the twelve channels has independent volume control, allowing for customized audio levels in different zones. The amplifier's standby power consumption is low, making it an energy-efficient addition to your audio setup.

      Flexible Inputs and Bridged Outputs

The MA1260 amplifier offers extensive flexibility and power management for diverse audio applications. It features two common or BUS inputs that feed audio signals from standard line-level sources to any or all of its twelve channels. Each channel is equipped with a dedicated input and independent level adjustment, allowing for precise control and customization. For added versatility, any two channels can be easily bridged by flipping a single switch, thereby increasing the total power output for that zone when extra power is needed. This combination of bus inputs, individual channel inputs, and bridgable outputs makes the MA1260 an ideal solution for managing different audio sources and enhancing power delivery in various areas as required.

      Advanced Class-D Technology

Sharing its design and functionality with the Dayton Audio MA1240a, the MA1260 employs class-D technology to deliver more power efficiently. Its power supply features two toroidal transformers followed by individual rectifying and buffering sections for each stereo zone.

      Connectivity and Installation Options

Every zone utilizes two channels that can be configured for individual or bridged output, with each channel accessing one individual input and two bus inputs. The bus inputs can deliver a single signal to all channels simultaneously. Additional features include a trigger input and output, as well as a bus output for synchronizing multiple devices. The sturdy rubber feet and removable brackets make it suitable for freestanding or 19” rack-mounted installations.
