The GRS 8SW-4 8" 4 ohm poly cone driver is a true bargain in replacement subwoofers! This economical sub features a large diameter voice coil, durable polypropylene cone, and extended excursion for high energy bass reproduction.

GRS 8SW-4 8" Poly Cone Subwoofer 4 Ohm

Now you can replace blown or damaged subwoofers with new drivers that equal or outperform the original! GRS poly cone subwoofers are the perfect replacement for tired, worn-out subwoofers in a variety of audio gear and even work great for new designs. Their handsome polypropylene cones provide durability and good looks, while the large vented magnet assemblies and extended voice coils enable long-throw performance and authoritative bass in a variety of enclosures.

The 8" model features a 1-1/2" diameter voice coil with extended 6mm excursion for solid bass performance in compact sealed and vented enclosures. These versatile subs are also rugged enough to be used in dipole and automotive infinite baffle applications.

Hele goede subwoofer. Ik heb deze gebruikt in een diy build en ben erg tevreden mee. Het is wel jammer dat deze subwoofer een hoge qts waarde heeft, want hij is niet geschikt voor een ported/vented enclosure.

I replaced my old JVC subwoofer driver por this one. Honestly the sound is better, however this one is much stronger and it makes the enclosure vibrate much more than the old one.

Użyłem tego głośnika do modyfikacji yamaha yst-sw012 wraz ze wzmacniaczem tda7294 i filtrem . Pomimo, że skrzynka jest bass refleks a parametry wskazują na szczelną i nieco za mała, to efekt jest lepszy niż oryginał . Polecam jako "replacement".

De subwoofer werkt fantastisch voor de prijs. Jammer genoeg is de hoogste frequentie veel te hoog voor een subwoofer dus ga ik nog een crossover moeten bijbestellen voor de frequentie tot 100hz te limiteren. Je ziet er wel aan dat het een retour is wat niet vermeld was. Op de achterkant staan een paar krassen en het is een beetje vuil aan de voorkant maar gewoon omdat het toch de achterkant is ga ik mijn score niet lager zetten. moest ik toch...

Quite pleased with the purchase.More than decent sounding speakers. I would say that for the money u can't really hope for more than this. Used full GRS line of speakers to rebuild old pair of floor standing speakers I had and it turned out pretty descent.
