The Jantzen Audio 000-5219 iron core coil is a meticulously crafted crossover component designed to enhance your audio experience. With a 40 mH inductance and a tight 3% tolerance, this coil ensures precise signal handling for a pure and consistent sound. The low direct current resistance (DCR) of 6.8 Ω means it won't alter the damping factor of your drivers or contribute to loss of efficiency, preserving the clarity and detail in the audio signal. Constructed with high-purity 26 AWG copper wire wound around a Permite core complemented with discs, the coil maintains extremely low resistance while providing excellent power handling capabilities. This careful design also ensures very low hysteresis, minimizing distortion compared to coils with ferrite cores.
