This low DCR ensures that the damping factor of the driver is not altered, thus preventing any loss of efficiency in the audio signal. The non-ferrite core/disc material significantly reduces hysteresis compared to coils with ferrite cores, which, in concert with the coil's design, allows for higher power handling capabilities.
