Wound with high-purity 15 AWG copper wire around a Permite core, this coil boasts an extremely low direct current resistance (DCR) of just 0.65 Ω. This minimizes any alteration to the driver's damping factor and keeps efficiency loss to a bare minimum. The innovative use of a non-ferrite core and disc material markedly reduces hysteresis compared to traditional ferrite core coils, while simultaneously offering superior power handling capabilities. The coil's inductance tolerance is held to within 3%, ensuring precise crossover network design and consistent audio quality.
