The Jantzen Audio 000-5823 is a meticulously engineered iron core coil with discs, designed to enhance the audio experience in your loudspeaker's crossover network. Ideal for the bass and midrange sections, this 8.0mH coil features an extremely low direct current resistance (DCR) of 1.70 Ω, ensuring that the driver's damping factor is not compromised, which in turn preserves the loudspeaker's efficiency. The high-purity 24 AWG copper wire is carefully wound around a Permite core and discs to deliver exceptional audio fidelity. Unlike coils with ferrite cores, this non-ferrite core material significantly reduces hysteresis, offering lower distortion and more accurate sound reproduction.
