The Dirac Series of 24/96 high-resolution audio processors with Dirac Live® are designed to fit into an existing system with minimum disruption, yet with the flexibility to allow for new and more cost-effective system configurations. The DDRC-22D interfaces via digital signals — AES-EBU on balanced XLR; coax/SPDIF on RCA, and optical/TOSLINK. The digital input source can be selected via the front panel or remote control, and all digital outputs are simultaneously active. The DDRC-22D can be simply inserted into the digital signal path of an existing system, or the on-board volume control used to simplify system configuration. Examples:

Between one or more digital sources and a DAC
Between one or more digital sources and active loudspeakers with digital input
Anywhere in the digital signal chain

Das Produkt funktioniert einwandfrei und ist leicht einzurichten. Leider gibt es kein Ein Aus Schalter. Man muss am PC drauf achten das der Tonausgang auf USB geschaltet ist sonst zeigt die DIRAC Software ein Fehler an und stürzt ab. Bin mit dem Gerät mehr als zufrieden.

Excellent! Dirac easy to use and a reel sound improvement. Only one regret why can't we directly integrate REW and Rephase results like in DDR 24???, just one Dirac/software upgrade further...

The DDRC-22D helps a lot to optimize the low frequencies. Now the bass sounds much more realistic and has more punch in my room. However, the DSP is not suitable for mid and high frequencies, as the processor is obviously too slow and the sound becomes washed out. But that wasn't my intention either because problems with the room acoustics are usually in low frequencies. I only use it up to 350 Hz. For Rock, Pop and Electro music in an average to...
