        Replacing the voice coil, suspension, spider, and surround in your Scan-Speak D2608/913 and HDS-104 26 drivers is a relatively straightforward process that can be accomplished with basic tools and a little patience. Here are the general steps involved:

        1. Remove the old driver from the speaker cabinet.
        2. Unscrew the voice coil from the former.
        3. Remove the spider and surround from the voice coil.
        4. Install the new voice coil, spider, and surround.
        5. Screw the voice coil back onto the former.
        6. Reinstall the driver into the speaker cabinet.
