        The Scan-Speak Classic D2008/852100 is a 20mm soft-dome tweeter that was released in 2021. It is an updated version of the popular D2008/851100, which was first released in 1979. The 852100 version features a number of improvements, including a new neodymium magnet assembly, multiple rear chambers, and a vented pole piece. These changes result in a tweeter with a smoother response, wider dispersion, and a more natural sound character.

         

        The D2008/852100 has a frequency response of 550 Hz to 22 kHz, with a sensitivity of 88 dB/W/m. It has an impedance of 8 ohms and a nominal power handling of 100 watts.
