This unique 1-1/8" silk dome and a state-of-the-art Ferrofluid cooled motor system employs copper shorting rings to ensure that high frequency content is reproduced as transparently as possible, assuring studio-quality performance.       This tweeter perform exceptionally, providing a very detailed, 'airy' and articulate sound. Excellent also for studio monitoring applications with a bit of EQ for a flat frequency response. Pairs very nicely with dayton audio reference series woofers, especially paper cone ones. Delivery was prompt and at a reasonable cost, but beware of surprising additional costs (from the courier, not soundimports) when shipping to the UK border due to brexit.
