        Don't throw away expensive loudspeakers just because the foam surround has dry rotted, or has been punctured. With these new refoam kits from Parts Express, you can save BIG bucks by repairing the foam surround and avoid costly loudspeaker replacements.

        Product Details

        Speaker Surround Re-Foam Repair Kit For 12” Speakers

         

        The kit includes two pairs of foam surrounds (one pair with a flat inner lip, one pair with an angled inner lip), two pairs of dustcaps (one pair paper, one pair plastic), 1 oz. of adhesive (specially formulated for various speaker cone materials), five foam swabs for application of glue and complete repair instructions. A utility knife and isopropyl alcohol are recommended to remove old foam material, but are NOT included in this kit. 

         

        Specifications: • Foam outside diameter: 11-1/2" • Foam inside diameter: 8-11/16" • Foam outer edge width: 3/8" (flat surround), 1/2" (angled surround) • Foam inner edge width: 5/16" (flat surround), 3/16" (angled surround) • Roll width: 5/8" (flat surround), 5/8" (angled surround) • Dustcap diameter: 4".

         

        Note: This speaker surround repair kit is not designed for use with subwoofers.
