        Rigidly coupling a loudspeaker enclosure to a floor by means of a "spiking" system dramatically improves clarity, stereo imaging, and bass response. This is especially apparent with subwoofer systems. These attractive spikes are precision machined from solid brass and then plated with a durable finish. The two-piece threaded tip design allows for precise level adjustment. Barbed insert nuts and 6 mm threaded studs are included for mounting in cabinets with walls up to 1" thick. Set includes four cone spikes, four floor discs, four barbed insert nuts, and four threaded studs. Insert nut requires a 5/16" hole to be drilled in cabinet prior to installation. • Dimensions: 1" diameter, 1-3/16" high (including disc).

        Build quality is really great, they feel heavy and solid still one of the screws liturally broke in half when I tried to screw them in a 8mm hole. If your working with a harder wood then I recommend you to drill a 10mm instead of 8mm hole.
