It features a high-performance ESS ES9842 Pro ADC, offering 32-bit resolution and sample rates up to 192 kHz. This converter accepts both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs, allowing it to interface with various audio systems.         Not only does it serve as a converter, but the ADept also includes a phono preamp with precise RIAA and other vintage vinyl equalization curves.         Detailed and transparent, airy. I missed some analog "grip" that I am used to and returned it. I have to say that I tested only for about 15 minutes. RIAA and AD with a different source. I like my old Digital Audio Denmark converter better.
