Best choice for small 2.0 speakers with active crossover. Onboard DSP offers limitless possibilities and board has more than enough power for something like Dayton ND90/91. Unlike Arylic, software for DSP programming is for free and is actually very well made and pretty well documented. Unlike Arylic though, DSP programmer is not included and needs to be bought separately (once programmed, it doesn't need to stay connected, so one can be used to program multiple JAB boards).
Pros:
- output power
- ton of DSP options (dynamic bass boost, loudness, limiter, delay, PEQ and even customizable GPIO - board has 4 inputs you can use however you like).
- pretty good documentation from Wondom
Cons:
- sound quality/noise are comparable to other cheap boards with DSP (not much of a HiFi)
- need for separate DSP programmer if you want more advanced DSP settings
DSP alone earns this thing 5 stars.
