Tang Band T2-2181SA 2" Subwoofer Module | 175 x 70 mm
Tang Band's T2-2181SA subwoofer module features a passive radiator-assisted 2" high excursion driver that can deliver powerful response down to 58 Hz in a compact 6.9" x 2.8" x 1.6" package. The Tang Band subwoofer and full range modules are the easiest way to design small speakers that provide big sound.
Tang Band's line of patented speaker modules are designed for modern audio applications such as sound bars, desktop multimedia speakers, flat panel TV speakers, and portable audio systems. Do not let this diminutive subwoofer module fool you; with decent efficiency and power handling this module can provide powerful low end to almost any project. Perfect for use in conjunction with Tang Band's full-range speaker modules for a true full-range system that delivers hi-fidelity sound while consuming very little space.
Tang Band incorporated mounting tabs and a two-pin wiring harness jack into the T1-1931S to facilitate mounting and amplifier connection to the optional KIT-0041 speaker module mounting kit with amplifier. For custom applications, two polarity-indicated solder points are built onto the driver PCB.
Note: Tang Band recommends the use of a 2nd order (-12 dB/octave) 100 Hz high pass filter for the best possible sound. Higher power handling and output is possible through the use of multiple modules.
