Vibrofiltr Premium 1.5mm Alubutyl is a composite material based on high-quality butyl rubber and polymers reinforced with extruded aluminum foil. It is mainly used to form a vibration damping as well as waterproof layer in cars. But it also perfectly suited to use in speaker cabinets because of their unique properties.

Vibrofiltr Premium 1.5mm Alubutyl VIBRO-Damping is a sound deadening mat that eliminates noise and resonance created by reflections. It uses mass loading to lower panel resonance and absorb structural vibrations, converting them into low-level heat. VibroFiltr damping mats are flexible, self-adhesive, composed of butyl rubber and aluminum foil. The thickness of the butyl layer is 1.5mm.
