These are not intended for "putting vocals through"..Not sure why some people are so clueless!! This is a fantastic high efficiency super tweeter. The 19mm diaphram and solid ali cast horn provide very flat response to 35kHz with a very clean impulse. Response plots show little or no break up in the operational range to well above 20kHz and the cumulative spectral display and burst decay ARTA plots confirm this. Super clean. If I have one criticism, the dispersion is relatively narrow so not for "nearfield" unless you angle them in. Their impedance graph is very flat with only a very small peak at Fs, around 6kHz..so a 4th order LR crossover anywhere between 6k8 and 8kHz would be optimal. If you are using DSP, time alignment will ensure minimum phase and minimal ripple response through the crossover point. I find it hard to believe, except for brand name and folk law that the "other" bullet tweeters, at much higher price points, will perform audibly better. If you believe in science that is..the plots don't lie!!
