First summary after a few days:
The delivery was fast, it should be noted that the amplifier only comes with a US plug cable, a Euro adapter will be added to the order.
The device is well packed and makes a valuable impression. On the whole, the device explains itself, unfortunately the instructions for use are only available in English. I use this for my Reckhorn Bassshaker B200i. First tests with activated equalizer were sobering, I had to turn up the amplifier almost to the limit to feel something. In addition, the amplifier then tends to clip, which is indicated by a red flashing power LED.
Puhhh... Wrong purchase!? NO, because luckily I still had my DaytonAudio DSP LF lying down! This switched in front of the input and deactivated internal equalizer!
Cut-off frequency on the amplifier fully turned on, since DSP now takes over all settings.
Separated for films in the XOVER -DSP LP at 48dB octave and 32Hz and HP at 48dB octave 20hz. 48dB is a high slope and limits the frequencies more precisely.
Via the existing bass booster, you can set individual frequencies, e.g. shots and intensity. The limiter keeps the frequencies in the given time, with me Attack time 200dB/s Decay time 100dB/s.
I pulled Pregain much higher from -15dB until vibrations can be felt.
So nothing stands in the way of fun, but the upstream DSP LF is definitely essential!!!
The amplifier now runs at half past 12 volume and has enough reserves for higher volume without clipping.
Oh yes, almost forgotten that the automatic switch-off unfortunately does not work, so I turn off the amplifier on the rear main switch. Anyone who is thinking of buying this amplifier and using it for a shaker should be aware of the additional costs for the DSP LF. Together a DREAMTEAM.
Unfortunately, he could not convince as a STAND-ALONE.
Greetings, S.Paul
